07/14/10:
SFTC Track Meets: SFTC hosts three track meets this summer at Dobyns-Bennett High School, Kingsport. The first two meets were on Tuesday July 6
and Tuesday July 13. The third meet will be Tuesday July 27 starting at 7 pm. All three meets feature SFTC (Adult) Mile
Series races. The second meet had a SFTC Kids Festival of Miles race. All the meets are free to enter. See the

05/24/10:
Bob Turns 60!: Bob Townsend, SFTC Volunteer Coordinator, had his sixtieth birthday last week. Bob has also earned the most volunteer points for the
last couple of years. To celebrate this occasion, a cake was cut and eaten in his honor at last week's SFTC Board Meeting. Another birthday celebration to come next month!

To the Pig and Beyond: Several local runners ran the Flying Pig Marathon in Cincinnati this year. Liane Jennings was one of them. Liane's
journey to the start line was a little different than the others.

04/14/10: Summer is Coming!: The SFTC
Summer Training Program will be kicking off soon! The “walking and jogging” program is designed to prepare beginners, novices or those needing a “refresher
course” to complete an 8K and 10K race. All abilities are welcome! The first gathering will be on Monday, April 26th. Check the
